Strange but really interesting that even there can be happenings like this. This particular month has something special.

Not a typical calendar by any means! Where have gone the days between September 2 and 14? Answer: September 1752 is the month Britain switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian Calander.

This means that dates prior September 1752 should be calculated according to the Julian calendar right? This is where it gets confusing: not all countries have switched at the same time.

So when you have an old date, you should make sure you know which calendar to use before doing any calculation with it.

If this is the confusion we have in our calender days, there seems nothing new that we have so much of confusion in our day to day life .....

To My MOM With LOVE

It's two days since I spoke to my mom...... I was in a deep sleep in my hostel at 08.15 pm..... My mobile is ringing...... AAAhhhh My mom is calling... But on the other end no one is speaking, to my surprise I am hearing one of my favorite song.... "தென் மதுரை வைகை நதி" song... Initially I thought that My brother Siva is playing .....but after sometime mom is speaking to me saying that Bala do you hear that song.... usually whenever I hear that song I used to cry..... It's a kind of feeling only My mom and I can understand..... after a long time the conversation is full of felings which can't be expressed in words... I dont know weather to cry or to laugh because... on one side I am happy that I spoke to mom today but on the other side I am really crying inside when I am speaking to her.... because of what she has done...... only I know why she did like that...... It's her love and affection.... even though I am 1700 kms away from My mom, there was a very good wavelength working between us... I never even dreamed that .....My mom loves me so much.... During the conversation I was crying My tears started wetting my shirt.... I felt like I should fly immedieately to my home from Bhubaneswar .... but I am helpless... my mom's words gave me the courage to stay where I am what I supposed to do..... but still I am so lucky and fortunate to have a mom like her...... I really don't know how I am going to show my love to her.... my mom is a BOON to me ................

CARBON FOOTPRINT

The pie chart above shows the main elements which
make up the total of an typical person's carbon footprint in the developed world.


A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and in particular climate change. It relates to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our day-to-day lives through burning fossil fuels for electricity, heating and transportation etc.

The carbon footprint is a measurement of all greenhouse gases we individually produce and has units of tonnes (or kg) of carbon dioxide equivalent.

A carbon footprint is made up of the sum of two parts, the primary footprint (shown by the green slices of the pie chart) and the secondary footprint (shown as the yellow slices).

1. The primary footprint is a measure of our direct emissions of CO2 from the burning of fossil fuels including domestic energy consumption and transportation (e.g. car and plane). We have direct control of these.

2. The secondary footprint is a measure of the indirect CO2 emissions from the whole lifecycle of products we use - those associated with their manufacture and eventual breakdown. To put it very simply – the more we buy the more emissions will be caused on our behalf.

BELIEVE YOURSELF---IN PROBLEM SOVING !?!?!?


I believe that as Human Being, we need to know to solve our problems. May be say for this time if I say about my problem to someone , I might get a solution but , what if I get it again or a different one. Problems visits human life in number of times so u need to inculcate the habit getting rid or solving them by your own. But it may not be feasible in all the time.....Don't take it for granted that whatever you do or you think ll' it be right....

THINK THOUSAND TIMES OR EVEN MORE BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING . BUT DONT THINK ANYTHING EVEN ONCE, U HAVE DONE.

A WhitePaper

A white paper is an authoritative report or guide that often addresses problems and how to solve them. White papers are used to educate readers and help people make decisions. They are used in politics and business. They can also be a government report outlining policy.

Government white papers

In the Commonwealth of Nations, "white paper" is an informal name for a parliamentary paper enunciating government policy; in the United Kingdom these are mostly issued as "Command papers". White papers are issued by the government and lay out policy, or proposed action, on a topic of current concern. Although a white paper may on occasion be a consultation as to the details of new legislation, it does signify a clear intention on the part of a government to pass new law. By contrast, green papers, which are issued much more frequently, are more open ended. These green papers, also known as consultation documents, may merely propose a strategy to be implemented in the details of other legislation or they may set out proposals on which the government wishes to obtain public views and opinion.

White papers published by the European Commission are documents containing proposals for European Union action in a specific area. They sometimes follow a green paper released to launch a public consultation process.

Commercial white papers

Since the early 1990s, the term "white paper" has also come to refer to documents used by businesses as a marketing or sales tool. For example, many white papers today reveal the benefits of particular technologies and products.

These types of white papers are almost always marketing communications documents designed to promote a specific company's solutions or products. As a marketing tool, it is important to note that these papers will always highlight information favorable to the company authorizing or sponsoring the paper. Such white papers are often used to generate sales leads, establish thought leadership, make a business case, or to educate customers.

 There are three primary types of commercial white papers:

1. Business-benefits: Focuses on making a business case to executives

2. Technical: Helps influencers (like engineers) to understand how a concept or technology                 works

3. Hybrid: Combines high-level business focus and technical details into a single paper
